The SME Energy Challenge is a UK government funded research project in collaboration with NetThings, Scottish Power and Edinburgh Napier University.

It offers customers of Scottish Power the opportunity to gain insight into energy consumption, reduce costs and receive NetThings energy monitors – all for free.

From December 2014 the challenge will be offering businesses:

  • A business energy audit
  • A NetThings energy monitor worth up to £460 with free installation
  • Participant SMEs will get to keep this equipment at the end of the project at no cost

The installation is planned for January 2015, and the project will last two years.

To find out if your business can participate and read more, visit the dedicated website. Signing up takes no longer than 5 minutes.
